1980: Associates Degree in Interior Design

After graduating, I spent several years working in both residential and commercial architecture. However, it didn't take long for me to realize that my niche was in kitchen and bath design. I love how my job allows me to work very closely with my clients and share with them the understanding that “there is a place for everything and everything has its place.” Knowing how individual families live, work, and play is essential in designing a space that is both functional and beautiful.

I firmly believe we can work together, no matter the size of the project, to create a kitchen and bath you will enjoy for years to come.

I have worked for many years in the kitchen and bath remodeling industry and have assisted many clients in creating the kitchens and baths of their dreams. I understand that the remodeling process can be stressful and confusing to the homeowner. I believe that clear communication with client from the first meeting to the final “walk through” can help make the experience as enjoyable as possible. I enjoy thinking “outside the box” when it comes to working with space challenged rooms to allow the space to “do more and be more” than was previously thought.

Along with having degrees in both business and marketing, I have also studied extensively in the field of interior design. I have also taken classes through the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) and visited cabinet manufacturers to become familiar with cabinet construction techniques. This knowledge will allow me to assist in selecting the best products to be used for your project.

“Giving back” is an important value to me. Because of this, I spent a summer doing volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity in which I assisted in remodeling a former rooming house into a single family home for a local family.

2003 Associate Degree in Interior Design

Kitchen and Bath design is a very rewarding career for me. Having the opportunity to meet new clients and assist them in creating a space which adds to the quality of their lifestyle and home is my goal. With every new project I am able to share my experience using the elements of interior design and my knowledge of the wonderful products and resources available. I take pride in knowing that each remodel or new construction job will receive the best service and attention that myself and Artisan Kitchen and Bath Gallery have to offer.

I enjoy getting to know my clients as unique and interesting individuals, listening to what their specific goals are, and then ultimately meeting their expectations.
Everyone enjoys looking at the “Before and After” pictures of a kitchen or bath remodel, and no one more than me, so let’s begin this adventure together and make your space an “Inspirational” one.
