Donna Spakowicz CCP, CAPS
Senior Designer/ Sales and Showroom Manager

Donna Spakowicz joined the professional remodeling/sales team to work with and manage the team and showroom. She works directly with customers to design and implement their remodeling projects. Donna brings 25 years of design experience to Artisan Kitchen and Bath Gallery and GSI/granite surfaces International. Donna Graduated in 1982 with a degree in Interior Design from Mount Mary college of Milwaukee. She began her career with a residential designer for an interior designer in who specialized in condominium designs. She then advanced to space planning, drafting designing and project managing for several commercial design firms. After leaving the workforce to raise two wonderful children she came back to the residential design market working for a kitchen and bath remodeler. She then advanced further by working for a builder heading up their remodeling division. While working for this builder/remodeler she gained a wealth of knowledge remodeling “award winning” entire homes, additions, kitchens, baths and lower levels. She also became very active with the Metropolitan Builders association, being an active member of the Remodelers Council and received her “CCP” Certified Construction Professional. She also, through the National Association of Home Builders, received her certification of “CAPS” a Certified Aging in Place Specialist.
Donna takes great pride in listening to her customers needs and designing a space that fits their personal and unique life style.

Katie Doucette

1980: Associates Degree in Interior Design

After graduating, Katie spent several years working in both residential and commercial architecture. However, it didn't take long for her to realize that her niche was in kitchen and bath design. She loves how her job allows me to work very closely with her clients and share with them the understanding that “there is a place for everything and everything has its place.” Knowing how individual families live, work, and play is essential in designing a space that is both functional and beautiful.

She firmly believes she can work together with her client, no matter the size of the project, to create a kitchen and bath her client will enjoy for years to come.

Nichole is a NARI award winning designer whose passion comes from transforming an idea into a reality for her clients. Nichole has a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, with a minor in Art, from Central Michigan University, which helps balance the technical and creative sides of designing spaces. Throughout her education and years of experience, Nichole has made her clients feel at ease by listening to their wants and needs to create the space they have always dreamed of. Nichole believes that every sophisticated design has to start with great function.

Bob is a NARI Certified Remodeler and Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler who believes in the ability of a well designed space to help bring happiness and comfort in our daily lives. His career began over twenty years ago with his own design firm, creating custom homes for clients not content with cookie-cutter solutions. Bob’s degree in communications comes to good use in helping clients crystallize their ideas, and then continues in giving them a comfort level that makes for an enjoyable remodeling experience.

Bob takes a fluid approach to each project he designs, guiding his clients throughout the entire design and build process. He understands there is a history to every project and always values the architectural integrity of each home he works in. Bob prefers to build a relationship with each homeowner, fine-tuning their tastes and goals over time in order to tailor a space for their specific needs. While Bob likes to keep in close touch with design trends and directions globally, he also has a strong respect for design traditions of the past and strives for a timeless solution for his clients no matter what the inspiration.
